The CMF by Nothing Buds 2 wireless earbuds are modern in-ear True Wireless headphones featuring 11 mm dynamic drivers, hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) of up to 48 dB and Dirac Opteo technology. They deliver deep bass with Ultra Bass Technology 2.0, immersive 360° spatial audio and six microphones with Clear Voice Technology 3.0. Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, Dual Connection functionality and up to 55 hours of playback with the charging case provide convenience for listening to music, making calls and everyday use.
11 mm dynamic drivers and Dirac Opteo
The CMF Buds 2 feature 11 mm dynamic drivers with PMI and PU diaphragms, designed to deliver deep bass, clear high frequencies and detailed sound reproduction. Dirac Opteo technology optimises the sound profile, improving vocal clarity and instrument separation. Additional N52 magnets and high-purity copper wiring support precise music reproduction.
Ultra Bass Technology 2.0
Ultra Bass Technology 2.0 enhances low frequencies, giving music a deeper and more dynamic character. The feature allows users to adjust bass intensity according to their preferences, while the equaliser available in the Nothing X app provides additional sound customisation options. This makes the earbuds suitable for enjoying a wide variety of music genres.
Hybrid active noise cancellation up to 48 dB
The advanced Hybrid ANC system reduces ambient noise by up to 48 dB across a frequency range of up to 5200 Hz, helping minimise distracting sounds during travel, work and relaxation. Environmental Adaptive ANC automatically adjusts the noise cancellation level according to the surrounding environment. A Transparency Mode is also available, allowing users to hear external sounds without removing the earbuds.
Six microphones and Clear Voice Technology 3.0
The earbuds feature six HD microphones, three in each earbud, working together with Clear Voice Technology 3.0. Intelligent noise reduction algorithms help separate the user’s voice from background sounds, improving call clarity. The additional Wind Noise Reduction 3.0 system minimises interference caused by wind, making outdoor conversations more comfortable.
360° spatial audio
The Spatial Audio Effect uses an HRTF-based algorithm to create an immersive 360° sound experience. This provides a greater sense of depth and space when watching films, listening to music or gaming, making audio content more engaging.
Bluetooth 5.4 and Dual Connection
Bluetooth 5.4 provides stable wireless communication with compatible devices within a range of up to 10 metres. The Dual Connection feature allows the earbuds to connect to two devices simultaneously, such as a smartphone and laptop, and switch conveniently between them. Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair simplify pairing, while Low Lag Mode reduces audio latency during gaming.
Up to 55 hours of playback
Built-in 53 mAh batteries in each earbud provide up to 13.5 hours of playback with ANC switched off, while the charging case with its 460 mAh battery extends the total listening time to 55 hours. With ANC enabled, the earbuds offer up to 7.5 hours of playback on a single charge and 32 hours with the case. Fast charging provides up to 4 hours of playback after just 10 minutes of charging the earbuds with ANC switched off, or up to 7.5 hours when using the charging case. The case is charged via USB-C.
Personalisation with the Nothing X app
The dedicated Nothing X app allows users to customise the equaliser, noise cancellation settings and touch controls. It also provides access to an ear tip fit test, earbud location features and firmware updates. In-ear detection automatically pauses playback when the earbuds are removed and resumes it when they are put back in, enhancing everyday convenience.
Touch controls and smart features
The CMF Buds 2 support touch gesture controls, allowing users to skip tracks, answer or reject calls and switch between noise cancellation modes. Gesture functions can be customised in the Nothing X app. Additionally, Low Lag Mode provides audio latency below 110 ms when used with a compatible Nothing smartphone in gaming mode.
IP55 resistance and comfortable design
The earbuds meet the requirements of the IP55 protection rating, providing resistance to dust and low-pressure water jets. This makes them suitable for everyday use, including outdoor activities. Their ergonomic in-ear design and silicone ear tips in three sizes help ensure a secure and comfortable fit. The charging case has a separate IPX2 protection rating, offering protection against dripping water under specified conditions.
